ePubNow! was first displayed at AEP Summit "Publishing for the Digital Future" between June 4 - 6, 2008 at JW Marriot, Washington, DC. The ePubNow! is a standards driven content transformation platform that seamlessly converts an XHTML output to multiple XML Formats [NIMAS, EPUB, DocBook, DTB (Digital Talking Book), PRC and PDB formats] which results in a consistent, standards compliant and quality assured output in multiple formats.

ePubNow! produces both XHTML and DTB vocabularies for the EPUB format, the new IDPF standard. It also has an in-built EPUB Reader which reads .epub container files in a secured manner online using a Web browser.

SINGLE-SOURCE: GENERIC XHTML

The ePubNow! Web Application processes generic XHTML through an XML Pipe to produce standards-compliant eBooks and other XML formats. The HTML generated from print-PDF format or developed by an author or publisher needs minor tweaks to incorporate generic attributes and their values to identify the Book Elements and the online production platform does the rest automatically.

MULTI-FORMAT OUTPUT: FOLLOWS INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

The ePubNow! Web Application follows international standards to produce eBooks and other XML formats. The key formats produced are:
